Reality Stars’ Son Dead at Only 25 Years Old

(RepublicanJournal.org) – Garrison Brown, son of reality TV stars Kody and Janelle Brown, has passed away. The two “Sister Wives” celebrities confirmed the devastating news on social media, sharing only that the 25-year-old had died. PEOPLE and TMZ are both reporting the death as an apparent suicide.

Kody and Janelle Brown posted similar messages on Instagram on March 6, stating that they had lost their son, Robert Garrison Brown. They described the young man as a “bright spot” in the lives of loved ones and said the loss had left a place of emptiness that rendered them breathless. They asked that fans honor the deceased’s memory while respecting the family’s desire for privacy as they grieve.

PEOPLE reports that the Flagstaff Police Department also confirmed the death. The outlet added that authorities believe Garrison Brown took his own life. Gabriel Brown, one of the boy’s siblings, found the body after their mother asked him to do a wellness check. According to TMZ, the young man had been sending disturbing messages to people their family had worked with. He expressed resentment for their “sharing the good times,” which he added that he “miss[ed].” Garrison and Kody Brown were reportedly estranged at the time of his death. The deceased may also have suffered from alcoholism, although his brother noted that the 25-year-old had recently started a new job and seemed to be doing well. Garrison Brown reportedly shot himself.

“Sister Wives,” which has been running on The Learning Channel for 18 seasons, follows the lives of polygamist Kody Brown, the multiple women he has legally and illegally married, and their 18 collective children. ET Online notes that in recent years, he has ended his relationships with Janelle, Meri, and Christine. His fourth wife, Robyn Brown, is the only woman remaining. The two are legally married and share three children together.
