Lauren Boebert’s Son Gets Arrested

(RepublicanJournal.org) – The son of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was arrested on February 27 after he allegedly broke into multiple vehicles and committed other crimes. The 18-year-old is facing five felony charges and at least 15 misdemeanor counts for his supposed actions. Records indicate that he spent at least one night in jail awaiting his bail hearing.

The Rifle Police Department in Colorado announced on Facebook that officers took Tyler Jay Boebert into custody at roughly 2:30 p.m. They made the apprehension in connection to several recent “vehicle trespasses and property thefts” in the area. It states that the investigation is ongoing, and the department isn’t releasing any other information at the moment.

Garfield County Jail booking records indicate that Boebert faces multiple counts on several charges. They include identification theft with possible intent to use, criminal possession of multiple financial devices, criminal possession of identification documents, first-degree criminal trespass, conspiracy to commit a felony, petty theft totaling less than $300, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. In total, there are 22 alleged offenses against him.

The arrest marks just one of numerous scandalous headlines Rep. Boebert has endured in recent months. The New York Times reports that she was kicked out of a Denver theater in September 2023 for vaping and behaving inappropriately in the audience.

A few months later, in January 2024, according to the New York Daily News, the representative’s ex-husband, Jayson Boebert, received charges of obstructing a peace officer, third-degree criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct after the two had a public altercation at a local restaurant. He got into a physical conflict with their oldest son a few days later, adding charges of harassment, third-degree assault, and prohibited use of a firearm to his plate.

Forbes shares that amidst the turmoil, Rep. Boebert is switching districts this election instead of defending her current seat. Colorado’s 3rd district is moderately conservative, but the representative still barely won her re-election bid in 2022. The state’s 4th district, which leans even further to the Right, is likely to be her best bet at winning another term.
