Jimmy Kimmel Denies Marjorie Taylor Greene

(RepublicanJournal.org) – Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) sent out a public request to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to set the record straight about the lies she says he’s made about her. She offered to bring him a copy of her newly released book, “MTG,” so they could discuss America’s most pressing issues. The late-night talk show host spitefully denied the MAGA conservative’s request during a recent taping of the show.

Jimmy Kimmel quoted the message MTG directed at him on X, the social media platform formerly called Twitter, where she made the appearance request. She was responding to the host’s recent comments about her candid new release, which he called “the first book she’s ever written or read.” The Georgia representative offered to go on his show, so they could talk about her book and discuss ways to salvage the country.

Kimmel noted the rocky history he’s shared with MTG, adding that she was happy to peg him as a member of the “pedophile Satan club” until she needed a book promo slot. The MAGA Republican went so far as to file a threat of violence report against him last year in April after he made her the butt of a joke following her commentary on the vote confirming Ketanji Brown Jackson as a new Supreme Court Justice. Kimmel had playfully asked for the whereabouts of Will Smith, apparently referring to the actor’s violent outburst against Chris Rock during the Oscars ceremony in March 2022.

Newsweek shares that Kimmel had considered extending an invitation, but only so he could leave her hanging in the green room long enough to bump her scheduled spot. He also took the opportunity to slam “MTG,” which was released on November 21, by sharing its unimpressive Amazon sales ranking number and 1.8-star rating.

MTG,” published through Winning Team Publishing, is the congresswoman’s personal account of her experiences in Washington, DC. It claims to expose political elites and other power players who continue to muck the swamp.
