Ramaswamy Calls Squad Member “Grand Wizard” of White Supremacist Organization

(RepublicanJournal.org) – Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) has stood out among progressives for her loud voice and racially themed pet projects, and she’s clashed head on with numerous Republicans over the course of her work in Washington. The Squad member’s most recent verbal sparring partner, Vivek Ramaswamy, referred to the representative as a Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. He also caller her, along with anti-racism activist Ibram X. Kendi, as the “modern KKK.”

Ramaswamy is among the camp who believes politicians like Pressley do more harm than good for inclusiveness in the US — actually creating racism rather than combating it. The Republican presidential hopeful feels his rhetoric makes important points and opens doors to real discussion about skin color and the Left’s actual claims. Ramaswamy insists Pressley’s efforts force labels and segregate groups of people, calling the black lawmaker racist in her own right. He specifically referred to a statement the ultra-liberal made in 2019 that called out politicians of color who weren’t also active voices for their minority communities.

Dana Bash of CNN grilled Ramaswamy over the statement during a recent interview, noting the strong language given Pressley’s dark skin. The conservative entrepreneur stood by his words, arguing that she was simply wrong — and downright racist — when she claimed non-minorities had irrelevant views when it came to ethnic and color issues. He accused such viewpoints as being driving factors behind the related divide, going so far as to call the attitude “racism in new clothing.”

NBC Boston 10 shares that Pressley previously clashed with Donald Trump during his presidency, when the MAGA leader told all four Squad members they should each return to their “broken and crime-infested” countries of origin to improve their perspectives on the US.

Ramaswamy has built a campaign around his anti-woke activism and nationalist mindset. Considered a longshot before the presidential debates, he jumped up into third place overnight after standing out among the other candidates as staunchly conservative and fiercely loyal to Trump.
