Marjorie Taylor Greene Swatted, Says She Could've Been Killed

Top Republican Nearly MURDERED – Manhunt Launched!

(RepublicanJournal.org) – Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is among the most controversial right-wingers in Congress. Even some Republicans have called her out in the past for crossing the line when dealing with certain issues. Last week, the Georgia lawmaker took to Twitter to reveal that her home had been the victim of swatting, which occurs when someone submits a false crime report to get emergency services to turn up at someone’s home unexpectedly.

According to reports, officers presented at Greene’s home shortly after 1 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24. When law enforcement arrived at the property, which is in Rome, Floyd County, GA, the legislator told them there had been no incident there that required their presence.

Rome Police Department later revealed it received a 911 call at 1:03 a.m. indicating a man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds in Greene’s bathtub. The call also stated there was a woman and possibly children at the scene.

Later, the caller contacted the police again to admit to the hoax. The individual, who was using voice software to communicate, revealed they committed the crime because of Greene’s stances on the rights of young people in the trans community.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a hardline conservative who has espoused a number of conspiracy theories, such as that 9/11 was a hoax and that the Clinton family has been responsible for political assassinations.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
