(RepublicanJournal.org) – President Joe Biden, who ran on critical issues such as reviving a troubled economy due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is now facing extreme political pressures as inflation numbers of everyday household goods begin to rise. During a visit last week at the Port of Baltimore, the president made some interesting and seemingly incoherent remarks that quickly went viral on social media.
Biden first spoke up about kids using the internet at a McDonald’s parking lot.
BIDEN: "How many times have you driven your kids to the parking lot of McDonald's and sat there going off the McDonald's internet so you could hear?"

The president then talked about the $1 Trillion infrastructure spending bill that, according to his economic advisors, will somehow ease the 6.2% inflation rate of consumer goods.
Biden also claimed 17 Nobel laureates in economics wrote him supporting the bill, reiterating his belief that it will “bring inflation down, not up.”
The Washington Post fact-checked Biden’s claims and attempted to reach out to the supporters mentioned above. The Post claims they received few responses.
Biden spoke about the rise in fuel, asking, “Did you ever think you’d be paying this much for a gallon of gas?” Unfortunately, his team didn’t tell him that gas prices have risen to a whopping $7 per gallon in some parts of California and that inflation is quickly becoming the unwanted guest at the dinner table.

The president also commented on the supply chain crisis, saying he reached a deal with the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports and the longshoremen, who collectively agreed to keep the ports open 24/7. He then patted himself on the back, saying he had proof the plan was already working because the number of container ships docked fell by over 20%.
The only problem? He conveniently left out the fact that 111 loaded container ships continue to float off the coast in California.
Do Biden’s statements really prove he has no idea what he’s talking about? Or, is this just another example of people misunderstanding his words, as his supporters so often claim?
