Chip Roy Says Biden Can “Go Straight To Hell”

( – Recent images from Eagle Pass, Texas, allegedly depict Mexican cartel members crossing the border into the United States with body armor and guns. Border Patrol agents scoured the area, but the three men apparently eluded capture. Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) has had enough with the migrant issue in his state, and he says Biden and the current administration “can go straight to hell.”

Fox News headlined the armed migrants with exclusive pictures. Officials reportedly captured five other suspected cartel members in that same area in June, and more recently, a drone helped discover an armed individual leading a group of border crossers in the Rio Grande. Local leaders have become increasingly frustrated with the flood of illegal immigration, which overwhelms their limited resources and potentially puts legal, law-abiding citizens at risk.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) recently resorted to deploying floating barriers across the Rio Grande — a move both the Mexican government and the Biden administration have objected to over claims of safety concerns. The effort is part of Operation Lone Star, a Republican-led plan to take back the southern border despite the federal government’s failures.

The Biden Administration more than tripled the number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents at the border in August as the Department of Homeland Security continued calls for civilian volunteers to support the effort. Abbott, Roy, and other Texas Conservatives feel more aggressive action is necessary.

Roy told MSN that Biden “does not care about our southern border.” He wants Conservatives to stand with Texas and refuse to continue funding the federal government until it secures the country. He also called out fellow Republicans who have failed to act, admonishing them for allowing the crisis to continue simply so they can have “cheap labor.”

Roy is also demanding that the Biden administration reimburse Texas for the $10 million it has had to use in its own independent efforts to fight the crisis. Additionally, the Texas representative wants Congress to pass HR 2, or the Secure the Border Act of 2023.
