Biden IMPEACHMENT – He Won’t Go Down Alone
(RepublicanJournal.org) – Following the Democrats’ second failed attempt to remove former President Donald Trump from office via impeachment, many analysts warned the same fate would befall his successor. They may have been right. With Republicans poised to take over the House of Representatives in November, the likelihood of an impeachment of President Joe Biden is growing, and he’s not the only one at risk.
According to a report from the Western Journal, Congress has already brought eight impeachment resolutions against Biden since the outset of his presidency. Three have related to immigration, another three to the botched military withdrawal from Afghanistan, one was built around Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings, and the last was because of the Biden administration’s eviction moratorium during the pandemic. With the House in Democratic hands, these haven’t gotten very far. However, if conservatives like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) get their way, the tide could change next year.
Greene sponsored four of the eight impeachment attempts against Biden. According to a representative from her office, she has wanted impeachment to happen since the very beginning of his presidency. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) is another supporter of impeachment. In the tweet below, he says Republicans should attempt to impeach Attorney General Merrick Garland and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas as well.
Not just Biden.
We'll be coming for Mayorkas and Garland too. https://t.co/nt2nPYuvYZ
